Job Description

NOC

Monitoring of network and firewall infrastructure, including links and connectivity health.
Enable Network related metrics in monitoring tools.
Detection, triage, and resolution of network-related alerts.
Build dashboard, enable health checks using Logic Monitor.
Troubleshoot Palo Alto 420, 1400, 3200 series (in HA), Zscaler firewalls and services.
Escalation and coordination with customers’ internal teams and third-party partners during major incidents.
Drive P1 and Severity calls till closure of RCA.
Be part of Change Management Process.
Handle large volume of tickets, coordinate internally to closure.
Documentation and SOP development to fill current knowledge gaps.
Proposing and implementing automation improvements for alerting and response.
Perform scheduled and emergency network maintenance

VPN and Firewall Management

Configuration, monitoring, and policy management for Palo Alto firewalls and Zscaler VPNs.
Incident response and resolution for access, connectivity, and policy-related issues.
Ongoing firewall rule management, access control reviews, and configuration changes.
Coordination with regional teams to ensure language and time zone alignment during business hours.
Participation in internal and external compliance activities, including documentation and policy maintenance.
Support for ongoing infrastructure initiatives including upgrades, segmentation, and policy consolidation.
Adopt HTTP standards, error codes, and REST-based patterns used for endpoint integration.
Perform scheduled and emergency network maintenance.

Firewall & VPN: Palo Alto, Zscaler
Firewalls: Palo Alto 420, 1400, 3200 series (in HA) – 16 firewalls deployed globally
VPN: Zscaler

What You Bring

Experience : 4 to 8 years of experience in end-to-end NOC Operations.
Be ready to work 16x5 ( Monday to Friday) and on-call support.
Work closely with business and application owners on troubleshooting, support, and documentation of new application deployment and enhancements.
Build dashboard, enable health checks using Logic Monitor.
Troubleshoot Palo Alto 420, 1400, 3200 series (in HA), Zscaler firewalls and services.
Ensure compliance with corporate security policies and security best practices.
Configure and install network and security related hardware and software.
Provide day-to-day support of the LAN (Palo Alto), WAN, and WLAN network.
Experience in WAN environments, installing and troubleshooting circuit problems.
Manage and maintain network and security documentation through collaborative applications.
Work with application owners on troubleshooting issues, even though it may not be network related issue.
Troubleshoot network and provide Post Incident Writeup (PIR) and present to management.
Provide strong customer service and facilitate collaboration between project teams and clients.
Proactively identify, isolate and resolve network problems to avoid minimal impact to the business.
Perform internal audits and reviews to ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures which include internal penetration and vulnerability scans.
Evaluate new and emerging network security trends, products and technologies.
Create and update ServiceNow tickets and related tasks.
Participate in on call rotation.
Scripting – Good to have Python/Ansible or other scripting tools.
