New Product Development Manager

Role Description

New Product Development (NPD)

What you will be doing:

• Lead the End-to-End Product Development Lifecycle:

  Manage product development from concept through design, prototyping, validation, and launch, ensuring timelines, quality, and cost targets are consistently met.

• Design & Specifications:

  Develop comprehensive product designs and specifications while considering functionality, manufacturability, and customer expectations.

• Feasibility Studies & Risk Assessments:

  Conduct feasibility analysis for new concepts, assess risks, and propose effective solutions to ensure successful execution.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  Coordinate with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and marketing teams to align on product goals and ensure smooth development processes.

• Documentation & Compliance:

  Maintain detailed records throughout the development lifecycle, including design changes, approvals, testing results, and regulatory requirements.

• Innovation & Improvement:

  Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate innovative practices into the product development process to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ Diploma in Plastic technology from CIPET or other relevant institutions, Industrial Design, or related discipline (or equivalent qualification).

• 8–12 years

  of proven experience in

  new product development

  , preferably within the

  Packaging sector

  .
• Strong hands-on experience with Product Designing.
• Advanced proficiency in

  Microsoft Office

  (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Creo as well as NX, Solid works.
• Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.

• Willingness to travel

  , including

  international travel

  , as and when required.
