Network Engineer

Job description- Network Engineer Location – Navi Mumbai Position Overview: We are seeking a Network Support Engineer to join our IT support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure. This includes monitoring network performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, configuring network devices, and providing support to end-users. Responsibilities: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues related to network connectivity, performance, and devices. Monitor network performance and identify areas of improvement. Configure, install and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and network appliances. Ensure that all network devices are updated with the latest firmware and software, and perform regular maintenance tasks such as backups and patching. Provide technical documentation and train end-users on new and existing network systems and services. Network Security Engineer will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and integration of the corporate WAN, LAN and Cloud architecture. Responsible for implementation and administration of network security hardware and software, enforcing the network security policy and complying with requirements of external security audits and recommendations. Performing analysis of network security needs and contributes to design, integration, and installation of hardware and software. Analyzing, troubleshooting and correcting network problems remotely and on-site. Maintaining and administering perimeter security systems such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Need to good communication Skills Good Understanding of Security technology and compliance Troubleshoot skill for Medium Complexity incidents. Configuration of firewalls and other security devices. Identifies problems and errors prior to or when they occur and provide the resolution. Enterprise network security maintenance Individual should be Graduate in IT or Science background with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience Hands on experience on Load balancers , firewalls, network devices with trouble shooting skills. Experience with Cisco Firepower, Checkpoint Next Generation Firewalls, and FortiGate. Strong understanding of networking and security systems including routers, switches, firewalls, IDS/IPS, authentication systems, VPN, anti-virus, Web Proxies, vulnerability management systems, content filtering and log management. Manage firewall and network security systems by establishing and enforcing approved policies. Educational Qualification: Individual should be Graduate (Degree) in IT or Science background. Technical Certification: CCNA-Security/CCNP-Security/CCNP-Data Centre/CCSE/JNCIA Security/JNCIP-DC/JNCIP-Security/Other Industry leading OEM Professional level Certification related to Firewall or Data centre. Note: Above mention any one of the Certification is mandate and that should be valid. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. - 3-7 years of experience in network infrastructure support and troubleshooting. - Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and related protocols. - Working knowledge of network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs. - Familiarity with network monitoring tools like Wireshark or PRTG. - Experience working in a Microsoft Windows environment. - Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. - Willingness to learn new technologies and tools in a fast-paced environment.
