Job Description: Network Engineer, L1

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer to join our team and take ownership of our network infrastructure. As the Lead Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our SD-WAN, MPLS, and VPN solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of our network environment, enabling seamless communication and data transfer across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Network Design and Architecture:- Design, architect, and implement robust SD-WAN, MPLS, and VPN solutions that meet the organization's connectivity and security requirements.- Evaluate the existing network infrastructure and propose improvements to enhance performance, redundancy, and availability.

2. Implementation and Configuration:
- Lead the deployment and configuration of SD-WAN appliances, routers, switches, and VPN gateways across multiple locations.- Configure Quality of Service (QoS) policies, routing protocols, and security policies to optimize network traffic and ensure data integrity.

3. Network Monitoring and Maintenance:
- Proactively monitor the network infrastructure to identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and connectivity issues.- Perform regular maintenance activities such as software upgrades, patch management, and hardware replacements.

4. Security and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies.- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations pertaining to data security and network operations.

5. Troubleshooting and Incident Response:
- Troubleshoot complex network issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to quickly identify and resolve disruptions.- Lead incident response efforts to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.

6. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
- Provide technical leadership to the network engineering team, mentoring and guiding junior engineers in best practices and technical skills.- Collaborate with other IT teams to align network strategies with overall IT goals and projects.

7. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network designs, configurations, and procedures.- Prepare regular reports on network performance, security incidents, and planned upgrades.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- 3 To 5 Years of Experience on Networking, VPN, SD-WAN, MPLS, Routing & Switching- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.- Extensive professional experience in network engineering, with a focus on SD-WAN, MPLS, and VPN technologies.- In-depth knowledge of routing and switching protocols, including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Routing, Switching, Encryption, Subnet, vLAN, Esxi Hypervisors. Virtualization, Data Center and ContactCenter Experience.- Strong expertise in network security concepts, including firewall configuration, VPN protocols (IPsec, SSL), and threat mitigation.- Hands-on experience with network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.- Proven experience with network monitoring and management tools.- Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and interface with stakeholders at all levels.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
