Job Overview

Throne Solutions is seeking an experienced and proactive Network Engineer for an on-site, contract-based role in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in network configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and support for enterprise environments. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, performance concerns, and hardware failures.
Monitor network infrastructure to ensure high availability and security.
Perform VLAN configurations, routing updates, and network optimization tasks.
Support network upgrades, migrations, and deployment of new equipment.
Collaborate with remote/global teams for escalations and advanced troubleshooting.
Maintain accurate documentation of network layouts, configurations, and service records.
Ensure adherence to security policies, best practices, and compliance standards.
Provide on-site support for network-related incidents and planned maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

2–4 years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, STP, DHCP, DNS, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
Hands-on experience with enterprise network hardware (Cisco, HP, Juniper, etc.).
Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Experience with firewall management and security configurations.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues independently.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Must be available to work on-site in Hyderabad.

Preferred Qualifications

Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or equivalent.
Experience with SD-WAN, VPN configurations, and cloud networking (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and enterprise ticketing systems (ServiceNow, JIRA, etc.).
