About the Role

Throne Solutions is seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage and maintain our client’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of servers, networks, and virtualization environments. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on technical expertise in system administration, network troubleshooting, and virtualization technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Administer Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) for user management, authentication, and access control.
• Configure and troubleshoot networking components, including Cisco and Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and routers.
• Deploy and maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Perform regular system updates, patching, and backups to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to implement best practices for network and server security.
• Provide technical support for escalated infrastructure-related issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in system administration or IT infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux OS administration.
• Proficiency in Active Directory, Azure AD, and network configuration.
• Experience with VMware or Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Familiarity with firewall setup, network monitoring, and backup solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Certifications (Must Have at least one):

• MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate)
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
• CompTIA Network+
• VMware VCP (VMware Certified Professional)
