Job Description

Job Title : Network Engineer

Key Responsibilities: -

Provide operational support for datacenter network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.).
Perform incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis for network-related issues.
Configure and troubleshoot LAN/WAN technologies, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP), switching (VLANs, STP, VPC, VxLAN, FabricPath & Spine-Leaf arch etc.).
Manage and support firewalls, VPNs, NAT, ACLs, and security policies.
Support load balancers (F5, Citrix Netscaler etc) and traffic management solutions.
Support WAF, troubleshoot application behind WAF, create/modify rules as per the needs, onboard new applications.
Perform network monitoring and performance tuning using NMS tools like Zabbix & SolarWinds etc.
Implement change requests, upgrades, and patching of network devices in compliance with change management policies.
Collaborate with Senior Network Engineer and Architecture teams for escalations and complex design requirements.
Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.

Required Skills & Qualifications: -

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, IT, or related field.
10+ years of experience as a Network Engineer in a datacentre or large enterprise environment.
Strong knowledge of Cisco/Juniper/Aruba routing & switching platforms.
Hands-on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Sophos, Fortinet, Cisco & Checkpoint), VPNs, and security features.
Hands on experience on f5/A10/Citrix or alternative Loadbalancers and WAF Technologies.
Familiarity with Datacentre networking technologies: VPC, VxLAN, EVPN, SDN, MPLS.
Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting tools like Wireshark, SNMP & Syslog etc.
Good understanding of network security best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills for coordination with cross-functional teams.

Certifications: -

Certifications: CCNA/CCNP or JNCIA/JNCIS or PCNSE & F5-CA/CTS (any relevant).
Exposure to Data Centre virtualization like VMware NSX or HCI Nutanix.

Work Conditions: -

Location: Delhi - Onsite job role.
Working time: 06 days and 08 hours per week and available to support on urgency basis during holidays.
