Role Description

Job Title:

Software Engineer / Developer (.NET + Angular)

Role Proficiency

Independently develops error-free, high-quality code with strong validation of applications; guides junior developers and assists the Lead 1 – Software Engineering in technical design and reviews.

Experience Range

2–4 years

of hands-on experience in software development using Microsoft technologies.

Must-Have Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, and Microsoft SQL Server
  • Good understanding of OOPs concepts and design principles
  • Experience in developing RESTful APIs / WCF Services
  • Hands-on experience with Angular (v10+), HTML, CSS, Bootstrap
  • Experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Proficiency in SQL (queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization)
  • Working knowledge of Agile development methodology and SDLC processes
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git / Bitbucket)
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Exposure to React JS or willingness to upskill in React
  • Experience in AWS Cloud, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Harness)
  • Knowledge of Financial domain / Payment Gateways
  • Understanding of Unit Test Automation and testing frameworks
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and DevOps processes
  • Awareness of industry coding standards and best practices

Key Responsibilities / Outcomes

  • Develop, debug, test, and document code as per requirements and user stories
  • Participate in design and development of application components and features
  • Review code to ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices
  • Perform defect root cause analysis and implement mitigation plans
  • Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and reusability
  • Contribute to technical design discussions and assist the Lead Engineer
  • Mentor junior developers and support team members in achieving project goals
  • Participate in estimation, status reporting, and release management
  • Ensure adherence to quality, timelines, and SLAs

  • Timely delivery of assigned modules
  • Defect density and resolution time
  • Reusability and process improvement contributions
  • Completion of technical certifications and trainings
