The NDT Sales Engineer identifies and secures new business opportunities while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients. This role requires technical expertise in NDT methods to provide product knowledge, technical support, and solutions that meet the specific needs of clients across various industries, including aerospace, manufacturing, oil and gas, and power generation. The NDT Sales engineer should have relevant experience in selling, giving demo of Conventional and Advanced UT/ECT systems, possess a strong understanding and overview of UT & ECT systems. Should effectively address client service requirements and provide service support.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets for UT and ECT systems.
Generate new leads and opportunities through client visits, cold calls, networking, and participation in industry events.
Manage and expand relationships with key accounts, OEMs, EPC contractors, and testing service providers.
Prepare and deliver detailed techno-commercial proposals and negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms.
Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence for strategic planning. Technical Engagement
Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and trials at customer sites or demo labs.
Understand customer applications in weld inspection, thickness gauging, flaw detection, crack detection, conductivity testing, etc.
Collaborate with application specialists to design customer-specific solutions.
Support customers in proof-of-concept studies and validation of inspection methods. Customer Support & Coordination
Act as the primary point of contact for all customer queries (pre-sales and post-sales).
Coordinate with service and application teams to ensure smooth installation, training, and after sales service.
Provide feedback from customers to product management teams for continuous improvement. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate records of opportunities, quotes, and orders in CRM systems.
Provide periodic sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and activity reports to management.
Prepare competitive analysis and business reports for strategy meetings.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Materials Engineering.
8-10 years of relevant experience in technical sales of capital equipment, preferably NDT, test & measurement, or industrial inspection systems.
Hands-on knowledge of Ultrasonic Testing (conventional, phased array, TOFD) and Eddy Current Testing (surface crack, tubing inspection, conductivity) preferred.
Experience working with customers in aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, power, or manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
Skills & Attributes
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging technical and commercial stakeholders.
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and contract-closing skills.
Ability to explain complex technical solutions in simple business terms.
Self-starter, result-oriented, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
Willingness to travel extensively (50–70% of time) within assigned territory.
Proficiency with MS Office, CRM tools, and reporting software.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,100,000.00 per year
