Position: National Sales Manager -General Trade (FMCG Food Industry)

Location: BKC, Mumbai

About the Company:

National Sales Manager (NSM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute

  national-level General Trade (GT) sales strategy

• Manage and mentor

  Zonal & Regional Sales Managers

• Strengthen and expand the

  distributor and retail network

  across key geographies
• Drive

  secondary sales growth

  , improve

  numeric and weighted distribution

• Ensure adoption and utilization of

  DMS (Distributor Management System)

  and

  SFA (Sales Force Automation)

• Coordinate with Trade Marketing on

  promotional schemes, visibility plans

  , and

  market execution

• Monitor

  sales KPIs

  , market trends, and

  competitor activity

  , and report actionable insights to management

Candidate Profile:

• 1525 years

  of experience in

  FMCG Food

  sales (General Trade)
• Currently working in or previously held positions such as

  NSM / Sales Head / VP Sales

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing large sales teams across zones
  
• Deep understanding of

  General Trade distribution models

  , channel management, and secondary sales planning
• Proficient with modern sales tools:

  DMS, SFA, analytics dashboards
