About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile App Developer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in building and maintaining both iOS and Android applications using React Native. As the founding engineer on our mobile team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the architecture, strategy, and future of our mobile product. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious developer to take ownership, make critical technical decisions, and contribute directly to the success of a fast-growing startup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development and deployment of high-quality mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms using React Native.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams to implement features and deliver a seamless user experience.
• Architect, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and well-tested code.
• Demonstrate expertise in React, Typescript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+), ensuring best practices are followed throughout the codebase.
• Manage complex state using Redux and related patterns.
• Implement responsive design with strong CSS/StyleSheet skills, ensuring optimal performance and appearance across devices.
• Take full ownership of the mobile stack, including identifying, evaluating, and integrating third-party APIs and libraries as needed.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor other team members, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks.
• Stay up to date with latest trends and technologies in mobile development.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience developing mobile apps for iOS and Android using React Native.
• Strong command of React, Typescript, and JavaScript (ES6+), with demonstrable experience in building complex apps.
• Hands-on experience with Redux or other state management solutions in React Native apps.
• Solid understanding of CSS and design principles for responsive and adaptive UI.
• Proven ability to take initiative, make sound architectural decisions, and assume responsibility for product quality and timelines — ideally in a startup or small-team environment.
• Familiarity with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) code as needed for React Native bridging is a plus.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment workflows is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
