A role based in the footwear manufacturing & retail operations sector supporting on-site production, inventory, and sales performance analytics. This position drives accurate operational reporting, KPI monitoring, and insights that help production, procurement, and commercial teams reduce costs, improve throughput, and maintain stock availability across channels.

Role & Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports for production, sales, dispatches, returns, WIP and inventory—ensuring accuracy and timely distribution to stakeholders.
Maintain and update dashboarding tools (Excel & Power BI/Tableau) to visualise KPIs: OEE, production output, yield, inventory turns, lead times and order fulfilment.
Extract, validate and reconcile data from ERP/production systems and shop-floor records; identify variances and drive corrective actions with production, procurement and sales teams.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and short-term forecasts to support production planning, monthly closing and decision-making for replenishment and capacity allocation.
Develop and enforce data-entry standards, templates and automated routines (macros/queries) to improve data quality and reporting speed.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams on MIS requirements, support audits, and contribute to process-improvement initiatives on site.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Statistics, Engineering or equivalent with 1–3 years of MIS/operations experience in manufacturing, footwear or retail operations.
Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, formulas, macros) and strong numerical accuracy.
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP/Odoo/Tally) and ability to extract & reconcile transactional data.
Basic SQL knowledge or experience running queries to pull operational datasets.
Good communication skills and proven ability to coordinate with production, procurement and sales teams in an on-site environment.

Preferred

Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau for dashboarding and visual analytics.
Familiarity with footwear production terminologies (cutting, lasting, finishing) and inventory control best practices.
Exposure to Python/R for automation or advanced analysis is a plus.
