Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities The specific duties in an event context would involve: Data Collection & Consolidation: Gathering data from various sources related to events (e.g., vendor costs, client feedback, attendance numbers, sales leads, operational metrics). Reporting & Dashboard Creation: Preparing and maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports and dashboards for management and stakeholders. Performance Tracking: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) for events, such as budget adherence, lead-to-conversion rates, and client satisfaction metrics. Data Analysis & Insights: Analyzing data to identify trends, operational efficiencies, and areas for improvement in event planning and execution. System Management: Ensuring data integrity and accuracy across systems, and potentially managing the software/tools used for data management and event coordination. Collaboration: Working closely with different departments (e.g., marketing, sales, operations, finance) to understand their data needs and provide tailored information. Process Improvement: Automating repetitive reporting tasks using tools like Excel Macros, VBA, or Power BI to enhance efficiency. Required Skills and Qualifications Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Macros) and Google Sheets is crucial. Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) or database languages (SQL) may also be required. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in working with data to ensure accuracy and integrity. Communication: Excellent communication skills to present findings clearly to non-technical audiences and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies and technical issues efficiently.
