Job Description

We are Hiring for: MIS Executive – Mining OperationsLocation

: Durgapur (2 persons), Kolgaon (2 persons)

Department

: Operations & Monitoring

Reporting to:

Head Office – Projects department (Direct Line), dotted to Project In-Charge

Key Responsibilities

A. Data Collection & Compilation

* Collect daily and shift-wise data from: • Mining Operations: Overburden removal, coal/ROM production,• equipment productivity, cycle times, haul distance, and delays.• Plant & Machinery: Equipment deployment, running hours, breakdown• reports, repairs, preventive maintenance, and spares used.• Fuel Management: Receipts, issues, consumption logs, dip readings, fuel• variance, and efficiency data per equipment.• Procurement & Stores: Store requisitions, GRNs, POs, local purchases,• consumption reports, and monthly expenditure summaries.* Verify data entries for accuracy and completeness before submission.

B. Data Analysis & Performance Metrics

* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports covering: • Production targets vs. achievements (OB, coal, waste, etc.) • Equipment utilisation, idle time, and availability. • Fuel efficiency analysis — per equipment and per cubic metre hauled. • Cycle-time optimisation for dumper–excavator combinations. • Maintenance indicators: Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF). • Fuel and spares cost per BCM/tonne of output. * Analyse and highlight variances and outliers for management review. * Support Project Manager in presenting performance dashboards during weekly and monthly meetings.

C. Reporting & Documentation

• Maintain and update all prescribed MIS templates, registers, and trackers (fuel,• equipment, production, downtime, cost).• Consolidate site data for submission to HO team as per reporting schedule.• Present data summaries, charts, and variance analysis to Project Head and Head Office.• Maintain confidentiality and data integrity for all operational and financial data. Qualifications & Eligibility

Criteria - Requirement

Education

: Graduate in Engineering (Mining / Mechanical / Industrial) or B.Sc. with strong quantitative aptitude. Candidates with MBA / PGDM in Operations or Analytics preferred.

Experience

2–6 years in mining, heavy equipment, or industrial project MIS / data analytics. Prior site experience preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, charts), PowerPoint, and database management. Knowledge of Power BI / Tableau is an advantage.

Other Requirements
