Job Details
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the test automation team, providing mentorship and guidance.
- Develop and implement test automation strategies and frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Tosca, and API testing tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and quality assurance, to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing using Java and Python.
- Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the testing process, tools, and methodologies.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in test automation.
- Manage testing resources, timelines, and budgets effectively.
- Facilitate training and knowledge sharing sessions for the team..
- Strong knowledge of test automation tools, particularly Selenium, Tosca, and API testing frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Java and Python.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
Experience & Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience. 5+ years of directly-related or relevant experience with 2+ years in a managerial capacity, preferably in system/software quality and testing or Computer System Validation testing.
