Job Description

As a member of our Technology team, your day will be all about problem-solving and building.You'll design, develop, and maintain systems that power Meritto, working with cutting-edge tools to create solutions that scale and innovate.Each line of code you write makes a tangible difference in how we deliver value to our users.We're looking for a highly skilled and proactive Lead QA Automation Engineer with 7-10 years of experience to lead our quality assurance efforts.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining automation frameworks, specifically with Python and pytest.

Role

You will play a crucial role in shaping our automation strategy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software, and mentoring a team of QA you'll do :
  • Design and architect robust automation frameworks using Selenium with Python.
  • Lead the QA automation efforts and mentor a small team of QA engineers.
  • Continuously enhance test coverage and quality metrics across projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, designers, and product managers) to understand requirements and translate them into effective test strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for test automation and implement best practices.
  • Integrate test suites into the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins.
  • Act as the final gatekeeper before live deployment, ensuring product quality and stability.
  • Study product documents and specifications to prepare comprehensive test cases.
  • Own the defect logging and tracking process through defect management tools like JIRA or Zoho we're looking for :
  • 7-10 years of experience in Test Automation.
  • MCA or B. Tech in Computer Science/IT engineering.
  • Strong, hands-on experience with Python and Selenium.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of QA engineers.
  • In-depth knowledge of different types of testing (functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, system, etc.
  • Experience with both traditional SDLC and agile/scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience with version control tools like Git.
  • Hands-on experience with web service testing (REST, JSON, and HTTP).
  • Experience performing database testing and script testing.
  • Basic knowledge of web concepts (HTML, web servers) and relational and non-relational database management systems.
