About the Role

We are seeking a Merge & Acquisition Manager with deep experience in technology and semiconductor markets to drive our buy-side acquisition strategy. This high-impact role involves sourcing acquisition targets, evaluating deal opportunities, managing due diligence, and supporting transaction execution across international markets.

As part of Vyrian’s leadership team, you’ll work directly with senior executives to identify synergistic businesses that enhance our capabilities, expand our market reach, and accelerate our growth. You will play a key role in shaping the future of Vyrian through strategic acquisitions in the US, Europe and Asia.

Key Responsibilities

Target Identification & Deal Sourcing

Research and identify potential acquisition targets in the semiconductor and electronic components industry

Engage directly with business owners, investment banks, and advisors to explore deal opportunities

Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of acquisition targets aligned with Vyrian’s strategic goals

Evaluation & Due Diligence

Perform financial analysis, valuation, and strategic fit assessments of target companies

Lead due diligence processes across legal, financial, technical, and operational areas

Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure thorough evaluation

Deal Execution

Support negotiation of deal terms and transaction structures

Prepare investment memos, financial models, and presentation materials for internal decision-making

Work closely with legal and financial teams to facilitate transaction closing

Post-Acquisition Integration Support

Collaborate with operations, finance, and leadership teams to ensure successful integration of acquired companies

Monitor performance and identify opportunities to optimize synergies post-acquisition

Market Intelligence

Stay current on industry trends, M&A activity, and emerging technologies

Analyze market developments to continuously refine Vyrian’s acquisition strategy

Who We’re Looking For:

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in M&A , investment banking, corporate development, or strategy
• Proven experience with buy-side transactions, particularly in the $5–100M mid-market range
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
• Excellent English communication and presentation abilities
• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a relevant field

Preferred Experience

• Background in the semiconductor or technology sector
• MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced credential
• Experience in cross-border acquisitions and international deal environments
• Existing US B1 visa preferred for travel to HQ and target company meetings
• Professional network within investment, corporate development, or semiconductor circles

Global Scope & Travel

• Regular engagement with buyers across the US, Europe, and Asia
• Travel to Houston HQ, Hong Kong labs, and buyer locations
• Remote-first role with international exposure
