MEP Engineer

Key Responsibilities

· Develop MEP system layouts and detailed designs per project specifications.

· Coordinate with architects, structural and civil engineers to integrate MEP seamlessly into project plans.

· Supervise procurement and installation of MEP equipment—HVAC, generators, ductwork, piping, fire systems, lighting, lifts, etc.

· Oversee contractors and site teams to ensure adherence to technical specs, safety, quality, and timelines.

· Conduct inspections/tests (e.g. air balancing, pressure tests, continuity checks), troubleshoot issues, implement corrective actions.

· Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation—design drawings, progress reports, materials submittals, commissioning reports, and as-built records.

· Monitor and manage project timelines, costs, and quality, escalating risks and implementing mitigations.

· Ensure all MEP installations comply with Indian codes (NBC, IS), local regulations, and Upasna’s internal quality standards.

· Optimize systems for energy efficiency, sustainability, and lifecycle cost.

· Coordinate with client and internal teams for inspections, acceptance, and handover.

Qualifications

· B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering.

· 3–7 years of hands-on experience in MEP design and execution within residential/commercial construction.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, HAP, ETAP, or equivalent software.

· Strong knowledge of HVAC, power distribution, fire protection, plumbing, and drainage systems.

· Familiar with relevant standards and local electrical/mechanical regulations.

· Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Able to work on-site at Jaipur, coordinating multiple trades effectively.

· PMP certification or experience with BIM and sustainable systems is a plus.

· Previous experience with high-end or iconic real estate projects advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
