MEP Engineer

As an MEP Engineer based in Kochi, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the installation, maintenance, and operation of electrical systems and equipment. Your responsibilities will include managing electrical teams, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and coordinating electrical work with other MEP disciplines to ensure timely project completion. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate electrical work with mechanical and plumbing teams to ensure a smooth workflow for integrated MEP systems. - Ensure that all electrical installations meet the project's specifications, safety codes, and local regulations. - Track and report on progress to ensure that the electrical work is completed according to the project schedule. Electrical Systems Installation: - Supervise the installation of electrical systems such as wiring, circuit breakers, electrical panels, transformers, and other essential electrical equipment. - Ensure proper execution of electrical connections and configurations, including lighting systems, power supplies, and emergency systems. - Assist in reviewing electrical blueprints, schematic diagrams, and technical drawings to guide electrical installation. Safety and Quality Control: - Enforce safety regulations on the job site to ensure that all electrical work is done in accordance with industry safety standards and electrical codes. - Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the quality of electrical installations and compliance with safety procedures. - Address any safety hazards or non-compliant work promptly to avoid project delays or workplace accidents.
