MEP Engineer

URGENT HIRING FOR A LEADING CONSTRUCTION COMPANY-OMAN

To ensure that the highest quality of mechanical, electrical and plumbing construction work are in accordance with project specific cost and schedule requirements.

In carrying out the responsibilities of this position has authority as laid down in approved company policy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Plan MEP systems interrelationships, construction sequencing and project schedule.

· Facilitate problem solving, as may arise, between Civil & MEP team during construction.

· Validate design issues related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions.

· Assist in the receipt and review of MEP submittals.

· Log and post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings.

· Assist in the scope review, budgeting and justification of MEP change work order.

· Direct, monitor and control the activities of site MEP team and ensure the work is carried out as per the standards of the company.

· Ensure that labours in site are equipped with required / specialized tools to carry out the MEP works.

· Ensure that labours are using basic safety items required to carry out the works.

· Co-ordination and administration of MEP related materials, systems and shop drawings submittals.

Co-ordinate with the Site / Project Engineers in the work site and ensure

· Co-ordinate with the Site / Project Engineers in the work site and ensure MEP works are commenced as per the schedules and carried out without any hurdles for the civil work.

· Liaison with Consultant MEP supervisory Engineers, Inspectors and relevant staff.

· Ensure that MEP Subcontractors provides and adheres to relevant Quality documentation / records.

· Monitor and ensure the MEP tools & equipments are handled properly in the site and necessary records are maintained in the site for the stock and movement to other sites with proper approvals.

· Ensure that MEP Subcontractors adheres to Project safety regulations.

· Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment’s.

· Submit weekly progress reports & monthly reports of each site to the MEP Manager.

· To monitor the performance of MEP Technicians / Supervisors and report accordingly to department head & HR for corrective action.

· Maintain records of all tools and equipment’s.

· Co-ordinate with statutory authorities like ROP, MEDC & Water authorities for necessary approvals.

· Ensure company assets and accountability to settle within stipulated time.

· To undertake any other tasks as per management instructions.

Education:

· B.E / B.Tech / P.G degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent study.

· Working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications and schematics associated with trade.

· 5 years of construction experience with working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing.

Construction procedures and practices.

· Computer literate.

· CAD / designing tools will be added advantage.

Possess excellent communication and organizational skill.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹115,000.00 per month
