MEP Engineer

As an MEP Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing plans and specifications in accordance with project requirements. - Managing and overseeing the work of subordinate staff. - Preparing plans with estimated costs for plumbing, HVAC, and piping systems. - Advising staff on installation and maintenance of MEP systems. - Analyzing and solving engineering problems. - Identifying issues in design, planning, and project delivery. - Preparing and delivering presentations effectively. - Communicating with the Project Director to address technical glitches. - Monitoring construction schedules related to MEP services. - Managing day-to-day activities of the MEP team. - Participating in risk workshops and reporting associated risks. - Providing technical clarifications for on-site construction. - Ensuring safety and health standards on the site. - Reporting any breaches to the Project Manager. - Taking necessary actions to stop unsafe construction practices. - Conducting off-site inspections as required. - Documenting mechanical service defects and preparing defect lists. - Attending project meetings and site progress reviews. - Drafting site/engineers instructions for mechanical services. - Offering advice on variable costs related to mechanical services. - Reviewing and commenting on operation and maintenance manuals provided by Contractors. Additionally, you will be working full-time in person at the job location.,
