Position Overview
The Marketing Officer will lead and execute marketing strategies to promote Wildlife SOS’s organic product line (such as Jams, honey, handicrafts, vermicompost, etc.) and Wildlife SOS branded merchandise to increase visibility, sales, and brand engagement. This role requires creativity, a strong understanding of ethical marketing, and a passion for wildlife conservation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy & Execution
· Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to promote Wildlife SOS organic products and merchandise across digital and offline channels.
· Identify target markets, create positioning strategies, and drive brand awareness campaigns.
· Support product launches with compelling campaigns and promotional initiatives.
2. Digital Marketing & Content Creation
· Assist the communications team with the marketing strategies using the digital platforms (website, social media, email newsletters) to drive sales and storytelling around products.
· With the help of the communications team create engaging content such as product posts, reels, blogs, and email campaigns highlighting the mission and impact of the products.
· Monitor performance metrics (CTR, ROI, conversions) and optimize campaigns.
3. E-Commerce & Sales Support
· Coordinate with the e-commerce team for catalog updates, product descriptions, and promotions.
· Plan and manage online sales events, discount campaigns, and collaborations with marketplaces (Amazon, Shopify, etc.).
· Work with customer service to ensure a smooth sales experience.
4. Brand Partnerships & Outreach
· In collaboration with the Corporate and Philanthropic Partnerships team build partnerships with eco-conscious brands, influencers, stores, exhibitions, and other organisations to increase product reach.
· Identify and pitch at relevant events, farmers’ markets, expos, and corporate gifting programs.
5. Merchandise & Product Development
· Collaborate with in-house teams to ideate and develop new merchandise or product lines aligned with Wildlife SOS’s mission.
· Conduct market research to track trends, pricing, and customer preferences.
6. Reporting & Coordination
· Generate performance and sales reports for management review.
· Coordinate with design, production, fundraising, and conservation teams for alignment and timely execution.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
· Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
· 2–4 years of experience in marketing, brand management, or digital marketing (experience with eco-friendly/FMCG/NGO sector is a plus).
· Strong communication skills with the ability to tell compelling brand stories.
· Proficiency in social media management, digital analytics tools, and content creation.
· Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate across teams.
Preferred:
· Passion for wildlife conservation and sustainability.
· Experience with e-commerce platforms and influencer campaigns.
· Creative mindset with basic design understanding (Canva/Adobe tools).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
