Area Sales Manager – North India (Welding Equipment)


Location: Delhi NCR

Compensation: ₹10–15 LPA (based on experience & performance)


About the Role


We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Area Sales Manager to lead and expand our Welding Equipment business across North India. The role involves managing key accounts, driving territory growth, supporting channel partners, and ensuring strong execution of sales and service strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead sales and business development for the complete portfolio of welding equipment across North India.
  • Drive customer acquisition, solution presentations, product demonstrations, and technical consultations.
  • Manage negotiations, order closures, and support revenue, margin, and collection targets.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with major fabrication units, OEMs, EPC contractors, and end-users.
  • Support and develop distributors/dealers to enhance market penetration and after-sales coverage.
  • Coordinate with service, applications, and marketing teams for seamless customer support.
  • Monitor territory performance, track opportunities, and ensure accurate reporting through CRM and MIS.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and technical seminars.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 5–8 years of experience in selling welding equipment, industrial power sources, or related engineering products.
  • Proven track record of sales growth, key account management, and territory expansion.
  • Strong technical understanding of welding processes (MMAW, MIG/MAG, TIG, SAW & Automation Solutions).
  • Experience managing both direct customers and distribution networks.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Engineering degree/diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Production, or a related field.
