Position: Marketing Manager – Yamunanagar Ammonia & Liquor Ammonia Plant

Role summary

Steelman Gases & Chemicals , a leading industrial and chemical gases manufacturer in India, seeks a Marketing Manager to drive B2B sales and branding for ammonia gas cylinder refilling and liquor ammonia manufactured at the Yamunanagar plant. The role focuses on industrial customers in North India, ensuring profitable growth and strong customer relationships.​

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing and sales strategies for ammonia gas cylinders and liquor ammonia in target regions and industries.
  • Identify and acquire new industrial customers (sugar mills, chemical plants, pharma, water treatment, etc.) and manage key accounts.
  • Plan and achieve monthly and annual sales targets; track enquiries, offers, orders and collections.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and finalize orders in coordination with management.
  • Coordinate with plant/operations for dispatch planning, product availability, quality and timely supply.
  • Conduct regular market visits, competitor tracking and price/volume analysis; report findings to management.
  • Develop basic marketing materials (catalogues, mailers, presentations) and support digital/online enquiries.
  • Participate in industrial exhibitions, conferences and customer meets as required.
  • Ensure that all customer communication and documentation reflect proper safety and handling information for ammonia products.
  • Maintain customer database, visit reports and sales MIS for management review.

Qualifications & skills

  • Graduate in Science/Engineering/Commerce; MBA in Marketing preferred.
  • 5–8 years’ experience in industrial/B2B marketing; experience in chemicals/industrial gases will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively in Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan and nearby regions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM or basic sales reporting tools preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
