The opportunity
Manufacturing Quality Assurance work includes Defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a manufactured material, component, or product. Building and maintaining the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products. Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards. Reporting and troubleshooting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- To perform in-process Quality checks as derived in Quality Inspection card for stages like Core, Core-Coil assembly, VPD, Retightening, Tanking, Vacuuming & oil filling, Final Testing, Dismantling & Transport.
- Raise nonconformance observed during in-process stages. Coordinate with responsible department for Root cause & CAPA.
- Arrange periodic NCR review meeting with inter departments.
- Certified Internal auditor for ISO9001:2015 to support related Quality Management System.
- Responsible to define Manufacturing Quality Plans (MQP) based on contracts & relevant standards.
- Coordinate the stage inspections of Core assembly, CCA (Active part) with customer & prepare the relevant report for the clearance.
- Close cooperating with other functions in Hitachi Energy (Production, SCM, Engineering etc.).
- Report & Follow up Cost of Poor Quality within the function.
- Coordinate improvement projects which are derived from Cost of Poor Quality & NCRs.
- Supporting initiatives and audits launched by Group function / Division on Sustainability, Material compliance, Integrity and Health, Environment and Safety.
- Coordination of customer audit & follow up the actions.
- Planning and Performing Quality Management System Audits, Global Quality Assessment & Customer Audits.
- Follow up of NCRs & Coordinate Root Cause Analysis (8D etc.) and define the action w/ related team which come from internal audits, customer audits, during manufacturing or customer claims (CCRP).
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical / Electronic Engineering with relevant experience with 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience if BE else 12-14 years for Diploma.
- Experience in Transformer Background must.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English & Hindi language is required
