Key Responsibilities

1. Plant Operational CostingPrepare and monitor plant cost structure:Project cost (CAPEX, commissioning, modifications)Production cost (conversion cost, utilities, manpower)Operating expenses (maintenance, spares, consumables, overheads)Calculate and analyze:Cost per Man-DayCost per Case / UnitLine-wise & shift-wise conversion costTrack budget vs actuals and identify cost variancesDrive cost optimization and waste reduction initiatives

2. Project Cost MonitoringSupport budgeting for new lines, capacity expansion & improvement projectsMonitor project cost vs approved budget and timelinesCoordinate with Engineering, Finance & Vendors for cost control

3. Production & Operational ExcellenceMonitor and improve OEE (Availability, Performance, Quality)Analyze downtime, losses, rejections, productivity gapsTrack rejection rate, scrap & reworkSupport Kaizen, Lean & continuous improvement initiatives

4. Production Planning & Control (RM/PM)Support production planning based on sales forecastCoordinate RM & PM planning and availabilityEnsure optimum inventory levelsMonitor plan vs actual production and schedule adherence

5. Supply Chain CoordinationWork closely with Supply Chain, Stores, Warehouse & DispatchMonitor material consumption, yield & inventory accuracySupport dispatch planning and FG movement6. TPM & Maintenance ExcellenceDrive TPM pillars:Autonomous Maintenance (AM)Planned Maintenance (PM)Breakdown analysis and loss eliminationCoordinate with Engineering for uptime & reliability improvementMaintain TPM documentation, audits & KPI tracking

7. Plant KPI Monitoring & MISTrack key plant KPIs:OEECost per Case / Man-DayRejection RatePlan AdherenceInventory TurnoverPrepare daily, weekly & monthly MIS reportsSupport Monthly Operations Review (MOR) presentations

Software & System Skills

Advanced MS Excel (Pivot, Dashboards, Formulas)

ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Manufacturing ERP – MM, PP, PM preferred)

PowerPoint for management reviewsExposure to MES / Production Monitoring Systems (preferred)

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong plant operational costing knowledge

Production planning & supply chain coordinationOEE,

TPM & Lean manufacturing conceptsAnalytical & data-driven decision-makingStrong cross-functional coordination.

Qualification & ExperienceEducation: BE / B.Tech / Diploma (Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Electrical preferred)

Experience: 3–6 years in Manufacturing / FMCG / Beverage / Food Processing
