Position: Software Engineer / Project Coordinator – Maintenance System Development

Department: Manufacturing Engineering

Purpose of the Role:

The position focuses on the development, implementation, and maintenance of the global

maintenance system within the Manufacturing Engineering function.

Main objectives include the automation of maintenance order creation through PLC signal

integration, synchronization of downtime status with MES, and generation of KPI reports based

on LN data.

The role requires close collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering and IT to ensure system

stability, data accuracy, and alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the maintenance system used globally across 17 plants and

approximately 200 users.

• Generate maintenance orders automatically from PLC signals to reflect breakdown

status and maintain synchronization with MES downtime information.

• Create automated daily and period-based KPI reports per asset using data from Infor LN

tables, including technician feedback and maintenance performance indicators.

• Implement additional developments as defined in the Maintenance Solution Software

Strategy Overview.

• Coordinate technical requirements, deployment, and validation with ME and IT teams.

• Provide regular progress and performance updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Ensure stable operation and data consistency of the maintenance solution.

Required Abilities:

• Education: Software Engineer or equivalent qualification.

• Profile: Combination of project coordination and programming skills.

Basic Skills:

o Multiplatform application programming

o Result-oriented mindset

o Fluent English communication

o Project management (SCRUM methodology)

Required Technical Expertise:

• Infor LN ION API programming

• Mongoose framework development

• SQL database programming

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• JavaScript and Node.js development

• Docker and network management

• BI/Reporting tool development (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, etc.)

Competencies and Access Rights:

• Full read-only access to Infor LN database and ION API.

• Full access to predefined LW virtual machines for deployment and testing.

• Direct collaboration with Manufacturing Engineering and IT teams to align requirements

and implementation.

• Inclusion in LW domain (email account, Teams folder access, and other collaboration

tools).
