Role & responsibilities

• New products assembly feasibility study along with R&D through 3D models and proto samples along with CFT - R&D, Quality, Production, Planning for desired facilities with productivity, quality and delivery requirements
• Project planning and On time delivery of facilities for productionising new products in the various TAFE plants in India and overseas.
• Study the product in 3D through solid works, Creo and windchill- PLM ,SAP- ERP systems with CADBOM and MBOM.
• Basics of assembly process sequence, process equipment, fixture, storage, kitting and feeding facilities.
• Preliminary level of concepts and Design of machine ,fixture design, material handling systems with required level of automation
• Preparation of RFQ for assy facilities, getting proposals, manufacturing and trials with systematic documentation and approvals from authorities.
• Knowledge on manufacturing systems engineering, flow manufacturing, PFMEA, DFA, Six Sigma, SPC, Poka Yoke and Lean manufacturing systems.
• Knowledge in electromechanical elements like servo, LVDT, Non-contact sensors and integration of PLCs.
• Awareness of Industrial engg activities including capacity planning, takt ,cycle time, throughput time , method study, layout improvement and productivity workings

Preferred candidate profile

Responsible for new product study, process planning, facility planning, layout design, production planning systems, storage, kitting,feeding, traceability , project cost estimation of assembly infrastructure and facilities of tractor / aggregate assembly process
