You will play a crucial role in supporting the manufacturing function to ensure consistency in product quality. Your main responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing production processes, implementing cost-saving measures, and keeping the manufacturing setup up-to-date by benchmarking with industry standards and overseeing subcontractors. Your tasks will involve preparing PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs, and WI for each manufacturing process step, conducting periodic audits to incorporate engineering changes, collaborating with cross-functional teams for ISO and IATF system implementation, and ensuring the calibration of Jigs and Fixtures. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring process non-conformances, conducting Root Cause Analysis, implementing Corrective and Preventive actions, and coordinating closely with production, quality, and technical teams. You will also be involved in compiling monthly KPI data for process improvements, quality analysis, and CAPA implementation, as well as developing cutting tools, production tooling, and Jigs/fixtures. Tracking indirect material costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, and liaising with suppliers for improved supplies will be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will be tasked with optimizing shop floor layouts, conducting capacity calculations, updating standard time data, and standardizing processes across various material types. Your role will also involve conducting Lean Manufacturing training, implementing digitization projects, and leveraging IOT solutions for faster decision-making based on manufacturing data. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Automotive, Production) with significant experience in Process or Industrial Engineering within the automotive or engineering industry. Experience in mass production environments, New Product Development projects, ISO 9000 or IATF standards, and CNC machine operations is essential. Additionally, certifications in 6 Sigma, TPM, or Lean will be advantageous but not mandatory.
