Role: Manager/Senior Manager

Role:

The Manager/ Senior Manager provides strategic account management to the Career Development Services (CDS) and Corporate Relations functions at SDA Bocconi Asia Center. This role is responsible for designing and executing partnerships with employers across sectors to ensure strong placement outcomes for the flagship postgraduate program - International Master in Business. The candidate's portfolio of responsibilities includes job placement, internships, projects, employer relations, developing new markets, cultivating key relationships with internal stakeholders, strategic planning and management of the Career Development Services team.


Responsibilities:

Corporate Relations & Employer Partnerships

  • Lead the development and management of employer or corporate relations
  • New corporate development, identifying potential companies and maintaining relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • This effort encompasses the growth and cultivation of relationships with existing employers, as well as the development of new corporate partnerships to enhance the number and quality of job opportunities available to students.
  • Identify and act on emerging trends in talent demand, industry hiring, and skill requirements to shape career offerings.
  • Representing SDA Bocconi Asia Center for all facets of its functioning in its relationships with corporates


Events & Employer Branding, Alumni Support

  • Conceptualize and deliver corporate events, and recruiter-alumni mixers that strengthen corporate engagement.
  • Develop and maintain corporate outreach programs.
  • Lead the design of workshops, masterclasses, and employer engagement events that enhance student preparedness.
  • Work closely with Marketing & Communications to position SDA Bocconi Asia Center as a preferred source of talent through high-impact collateral and campaigns.
  • Promote the rigor, quality, and unique value proposition of SDA Bocconi programs to corporate audiences.
  • Extend career support services to alumni, including career transition guidance, networking opportunities, and access to placement resources.
  • Collaborate with the Alumni Relations team to deepen alumni participation in employer outreach and mentoring programs.


Strategic Management & Administration

  • Define long-term and short-term goals for the Career Development & Corporate Relations function, ensuring alignment with institutional strategy.
  • Report on placement outcomes, employer satisfaction, and strategic initiatives to senior leadership and external bodies as deemed.
  • Collaborate closely with

    student committees, L&D team, alumni relations, program offices, and faculty

    to ensure alignment between corporate needs, student readiness, and placement goals.


Specific Skills

  • Strong business development, sales, and corporate partnership skills.
  • Proven ability in client relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Data-driven approach to placement reporting and MIS generation.
  • Strong interpersonal, coordination, and prioritisation skills.
  • Team building and mentoring capabilities.


Desirable Experience

  • 9–15 years of experience in

    corporate sales/business development/HR Sales/ Business Development in HR/ key account management/talent acquisition/campus recruitment leadership

    .
  • Exposure to BFSI, Consulting, Technology, and/or Emerging Sectors preferred.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing placement/corporate engagement mandates.
  • Prior exposure to the higher education sector or early careers talent development is a plus (not mandatory).
