Position: Manager/Sr. Manager / Lead β Learning & Development (L&D) Location: Mumbai (On-site) Department: Learning & Development (L&D) Reports to: Director- Learning and Development Role Overview The Manager/Sr. Manager L&D will be instrumental in shaping and executing the student capability-building framework at SDA Bocconi Asia Center. This role encompasses the design and implementation of learning strategies that enhance student competencies, foster industry and support student initiatives. The ideal candidate will bridge academic learning with real-world applications, ensuring students are well-prepared for their professional journeys. Key Responsibilities 1. Process and Policy Development Design and implement a comprehensive student capability-building framework aligned with the institution's academic goals. Develop policies and procedures to support effective learning and development initiatives. Establish assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of L&D programs and student progress. 2. Student Capability Building Engagements Analyze assessment results to identify areas for student development. Develop and execute targeted interventions to address identified skill gaps. Collaborate with faculty/ Learning partner and industry experts to enhance learning outcomes. 3. Student Engagement Drive and support student-led initiatives at individual, club, chapter, and committee levels. Organize workshops, seminars, and events that promote student involvement and leadership. Provide guidance and mentorship to student organizations to align activities with learning objectives. 4. Industry Engagement Facilitate workshops and mentoring sessions by industry practitioners for current students. Establish partnerships with industry leaders to provide real-world insights and experiences. Coordinate guest lectures, panel discussions, and networking events to enhance industry exposure. Qualifications: Education: MBA or any relevant postgraduate degree. Experience: 10-15 years of work experience, with at least 5-10 years in Learning & Development, preferably within business schools or corporate training environments. Preferred Candidate Profile Demonstrated experience in student L&D programs, preferably in academic institutions or corporate settings. Strong understanding of learning frameworks and assessment methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, faculty, industry professionals, and alumni. Proven ability to design and implement effective learning strategies and programs. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate various initiatives simultaneously.
