Min Experience: 11 yearsLocation: BangaloreJobType: full-timeAs an IAM Manager, you will oversee the development and management of identity lifecycle processes—covering provisioning, authentication, authorization, and de-provisioning—while ensuring adherence to security and compliance requirements. You'll be responsible for defining IAM roadmaps, driving tool implementations, and ensuring seamless integration across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructures. Working closely with cybersecurity, IT, and compliance teams, you will ensure that identity and access controls are consistent, efficient, and secure. This position demands a balance of strategic planning and technical depth, along with the ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex security ecosystems.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall Identity and Access Management program, including strategy, governance, and operations
- Develop and implement IAM policies, standards, and best practices to strengthen enterprise security posture
- Manage the full identity lifecycle—provisioning, role management, access review, and de-provisioning—across applications and systems
- Oversee access control mechanisms including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Collaborate with cybersecurity and IT infrastructure teams to integrate IAM solutions with enterprise systems and applications
- Conduct access certification campaigns and ensure regulatory compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, SOX, and GDPR
- Drive IAM automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize IAM tools and platforms such as Okta, SailPoint, Azure AD, CyberArk, or ForgeRock
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with external partners for system enhancements and security audits
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to IAM analysts and engineers, fostering a culture of security and continuous improvement
- Prepare reports, metrics, and dashboards to communicate IAM program performance to senior management
- Stay informed about evolving security threats, IAM trends, and emerging technologies to continuously strengthen access management frameworks
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- Minimum 11 years of experience in IT Security, with significant expertise in Identity and Access Management
- Proven track record in managing IAM projects and leading cross-functional security teams in enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, Kerberos) and identity governance models
- Hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, or CyberArk
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and audit processes related to identity management
- Demonstrated ability to design scalable IAM architectures that support hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities to manage global teams and drive enterprise-wide IAM adoption
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CIAM are preferred
