As the Senior Manager of Talent Management at Johnson Controls, you will play a crucial role in shaping the talent experience through enterprise talent processes. With a significant focus on the APAC region, around 30-40% of your efforts will be concentrated there. You will collaborate with various stakeholders including HR Business Partners and Centers of Excellence to drive talent success across the organization. Key Responsibilities: - **Organization Talent Review:** Support the execution of global talent review processes within APAC, including succession planning, calibration, and coordination. Assess leadership pipeline health and talent depth. - **Performance Management:** Ensure effective implementation of performance management tools and processes across APAC, supporting differentiation and performance messaging. - **Individual Development:** Promote career mobility practices and progression frameworks across APAC, in alignment with global standards. - **Coaching and Mentoring:** Design and execute coaching and mentoring programs to identify and develop high-potential talent in the region. - **Skills Strategy:** Collaborate on the global skills strategy and implement skills-related offerings in APAC. - **Talent Metrics:** Partner with HR Analytics to utilize insights for key talent KPIs and measure effectiveness of regional initiatives. - **Thought Leadership:** Stay updated on market developments and best practices in talent and organizational development within APAC. - **Process Innovation:** Continuously improve talent processes in APAC, integrating best practices and driving efficiency. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a related field - 10+ years of total experience with 5+ years in Talent Management - Experience in Performance Management and Succession Planning - Comfort with learning new technology and designing processes - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with senior leaders - Experience in a global organization and collaborative environments - Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into impactful talent programs - Proficiency in Microsoft suite of software Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in HR, Talent, Organization Dynamics, I/O Psychology - Knowledge and practical experience in specialized areas of talent management - Experience in a technology-forward business - Familiarity with Workday human capital system Johnson Controls offers a competitive salary and bonus plan, comprehensive benefits package, on-the-job training opportunities, and a collaborative team environment.
