Manager - SCM: Profile Requirements: Having a minimum of 10 years (after B.Tech) / 12 years (after M.Sc) of experience in Raw material procurement from Pharma / Chemical industry. Exposure to raw material procurement across multiple products / production sites. Hands on experience in Logistics (Air / Sea / Road). Working knowledge in SAP / Other ERP system. Working knowledge of Microsoft office, Internet and E-mailing. Having good oral & verbal communication skills. Job Description: Understanding of Production planning thoroughly and plan RM procurement accordingly. Prepare, procure and handle RM delivery schedule as per changing Production plans. Support RM Procurement initiatives with Market intelligence and data for various products on request and proactively. Maintain market data for sourcing opportunities and regulatory environment. Identification and realization of cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities. Responsible for Developing new vendors & evaluating existing suppliers for RM procurement. Act as the principle contact for formal communications with external companies during the procurement process. M onitoring of Inventory levels at Plant and Port. O ther activities as allotted by HOD.
