With a growing portfolio in the Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) segment, we are looking for a seasoned professional to lead strategic sourcing and supplier development initiatives that align with our local-to-local (L4L) business model. This role plays a critical part in shaping BSH India’s sourcing landscape by ensuring robust supplier partnerships, optimizing cost structures, and securing high-quality components that meet evolving consumer needs. Yours Responsibilities: This position is responsible for PCP IN L4L supplier sourcing, selection of Supplier, Supplier Release, Supplier relationship management, Supplier Master Data maintenance & supplier regulation process Responsible for component/commodities purchasing to achieve best cost position while maintain robustness of supplies. Partner with QM, DE to create a supplier & sub-supplier ecosystem to achieve overall business targets. Lead estimate part/component costs working with cross functional team & challenge suppliers for best cost position. Implement cost reduction ideas by leveraging supplier/sub-supplier base. Responsible for landed cost/SPC finalization with OEMs as per business plan. Support DE team for tooling related activities in terms of invest & timelines to meet business goals. Lead contract signoff with OEMs & suppliers. Your Profile: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred) or a related technical discipline. 12+ years of proven experience in strategic procurement, techno-commercial assessment, and supplier development. Strong understanding of domestic appliances, preferably in the small domestic appliances (SDA) category. Familiar with various manufacturing and assembly processes. Experience in working with intercultural teams and within matrix organizations. Well-established network across the Indian supplier ecosystem, with deep commodity knowledge. Demonstrated leadership, people management, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Exposure to various roles within procurement including supplier development, project sourcing, and material group management. Strong project management and organizational capabilities. Specific Knowledge: Proficient in strategic procurement tools such as Design-to-Cost, Total Cost of Ownership, and Cost Structure Analysis. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with an ability to influence senior stakeholders. Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities. Entrepreneurial approach with focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. Sound knowledge of contract law, compliance, and company procurement policies. Familiarity with controlling and accounting basics related to procurement. Ability to interpret and evaluate technical specifications and engineering drawings.
