Job Description for Market Research - Manager - Gurugram


Role Overview

 

We are
looking for an ambitious and entrepreneurial Manager – FTE /ResourceAugmentation Division to spearhead the growth of this business vertical. Therole will be a mix of sales, client engagement, operations, and P&Lmanagement, with full responsibility to build, scale, and manage the division.

This position
is best suited for someone who thrives in a startup-like environment, wantsend-to-end ownership of a business line, and has experience in consulting,market research, or professional services.

Key Responsibilities

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;mso-list:l3 level1 lfo1; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Develop and execute FTE/Resource Augmentation
    model within the market research vertical.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;mso-list:l3 level1 lfo1; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Drive lead generation, business development, and
    client mining to acquire new clients and expand business with existing accounts.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;mso-list:l3 level1 lfo1; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Prepare proposals, pitch decks, and commercial
    models tailored to client requirements.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;mso-list:l3 level1 lfo1; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Negotiate contracts and finalize agreements with
    clients.

    relationships with client stakeholders.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;mso-list:l5 level1 lfo2; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Act as the primary point of contact for clients
    availing FTE/resource augmentation services.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;mso-list:l5 level1 lfo2; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Drive client satisfaction through proactive
    engagement, regular updates, and ensuring delivery excellence.

<span style="font-size:11.0pt;line-height:115%;mso-ansi-language:EN-IN">Operations & Delivery


    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;mso-list:l2 level1 lfo3; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and deployment
    of FTE resources for client projects.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;mso-list:l2 level1 lfo3; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Coordinate with internal HR, delivery, and
    research teams to ensure smooth operations.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;mso-list:l2 level1 lfo3; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Establish frameworks for resource allocation,
    performance monitoring, and client reporting.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;mso-list:l2 level1 lfo3; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Maintain high-quality service delivery aligned
    with client expectations.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;mso-list:l4 level1 lfo4; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Own the P&L for the FTE/Resource Augmentation
    Division where you should manage budgets, revenue targets, and profitability.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;mso-list:l4 level1 lfo4; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Identify opportunities for scaling the business
    through cross-selling, upselling, and strategic partnerships.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;mso-list:l4 level1 lfo4; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Build operational processes and governance models
    for the division.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;mso-list:l4 level1 lfo4; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Monitor industry trends and adapt offerings to
    stay competitive.

    sales, operations, and research professionals.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo5; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Mentor team members to ensure continuous learning
    and professional growth.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;text-align:justify;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo5; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Foster a performance-driven, collaborative, and
    client-first culture.

Key Requirements


    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo6; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">MBA/PGDM in Business, Marketing, Strategy, or
    related field.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo6; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">6–10 years of experience in market research specifically
    in resource augmentation business models.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo6; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Strong exposure to sales, operations, and P&L
    ownership.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo6; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Proven ability to manage client relationships at
    CXO/Director level.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo6; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build
    and scale a division from ground up.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo6; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and
    strategic thinking.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo6; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Excellent communication (written & verbal)
    and presentation skills.

    <li class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0cm;mso-list:l1 level1 lfo6; tab-stops:list 36.0pt">Proficiency in MS Office.
