Role: Poultry Rendering – Manager
Location : Hyderabad

Position Overview

The Poultry Rendering Manager is responsible for managing and supervising the rendering plant operations that convert poultry by-products (feathers, blood, fat, offal, etc.) into usable products such as poultry meal and fat. The role ensures efficient production, quality standards, regulatory compliance, equipment maintenance, worker safety, and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily rendering plant activities and ensure continuous operations.
• Manage the processing of poultry by-products into meal and fat according to production targets.
• Ensure proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance of rendering equipment (cookers, presses, centrifuges, dryers, grinders, boilers, etc.).
• Maintain quality control and ensure products meet industry standards and customer requirements.
• Implement safety, hygiene, and environmental compliance measures (Pollution control, FSSAI, PCB, HACCP etc.).
• Monitor raw material receiving, storage, production yield and finished product dispatch.
• Train and lead plant staff to meet operational efficiency and productivity goals.
• Handle troubleshooting of mechanical or process issues to avoid breakdowns.
• Maintain production records, inventory, reporting, and documentation.
• Coordinate with procurement, maintenance, quality, and logistics departments.
• Control production costs and optimize labor and resource usage.
• Ensure waste management, odor control, and safe disposal systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Veterinary / Mechanical / Chemical / Food Technology or related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in rendering or poultry processing plant operations (preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge of rendering equipment and processing systems.
• Good leadership, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Understanding of safety regulations and quality standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
