### **Job Description: Planning & Billing Engineer – Solar Project**
### **Job Summary:**
The Planning & Billing Engineer is responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and billing activities for a solar power project. The role involves coordinating with project teams, vendors, and clients to ensure timely execution and financial compliance.

### **Key Responsibilities:**
#### **1. Project Planning & Scheduling:**
- Develop and maintain project schedules using MS Project / Primavera / Excel.
- Define work breakdown structure (WBS) and project timelines.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and site teams to align schedules.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly.
- Identify potential delays and suggest mitigation strategies.
#### **2. Billing & Documentation:**
- Prepare RA (Running Account) bills, invoices, and final billing for clients and subcontractors.
- Verify measurement sheets, quantities, and work done on-site for accurate billing.
- Coordinate with accounts and finance teams for timely payment processing.
- Maintain documentation related to work completion certificates, BOQs, and contract agreements.
#### **3. Cost Control & Budgeting:**
- Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
- Track material procurement, subcontractor payments, and project expenses.
- Identify cost overruns and propose corrective measures.
#### **4. Coordination & Communication:**
- Liaise with project managers, site engineers, procurement, and finance teams.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding invoices, approvals, and payments.
- Conduct regular review meetings to track progress and resolve billing issues.
#### **5. Compliance & Reporting:**
- Ensure compliance with contract terms, tax regulations, and financial guidelines.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress and billing reports.
- Assist in project closure, audits, and final documentation.

### **Required Skills & Qualifications:**
- **Education:** B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- **Experience:** [X] years in planning, billing, and project coordination for solar or infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in **MS Excel, MS Project, Primavera, and ERP software**.
- Knowledge of **BOQ preparation, contract management, and taxation (GST, TDS, etc.)**.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
