Driving the project from Inception/Ideation to Adoption by managing all the stakeholders.Candidate should be familiar with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, PMP, project related methodologies and Telecom to ensure successful delivery of the project.Broad outline of the Role
  • Manage Project starting from Inception/Ideation to Adoption encompassing all the other stages of project life cycle (e.g Requirement Discussion, User Story Creation, Grooming, Design, etc). Closely track these stages and manage stakeholders closely to ensure we continue to make progress and deliver as committed.
  • Understand the scope and not work like a coordinator; this will ensure that the scope is well understood and logical worked out for successful outcome. Very active participation is expected in Requirement Gathering, Design, Development and Testing phases.
  • NPIs are critical as there are GTMs planned and thus heavy revenue is tied; these are complex releases which needs to be worked with Agility so that we complete the P1/MVP which allows us to take customer order. The other aspects like Service Delivery, Assurance, Billing and Reporting may follow. 1:3:30 thought process needs to be carved out for all releases.
  • Manage project to ensure that the project remains within agreed scope, schedule, cost and quality.
  • Provide decision making authority across all technical and business process related issues.
  • Identify, maintain and manage project budgets.
  • Manage scope to meet project deadlines.
  • Provide project reports through to Engagement Managers.
  • Identify team resources required in conjunction with all Engagement Managers.
  • Mange the project team which mostly will not report to you.
  • Maintain resource capability across the project.
  • Ensure that IT, infrastructure, process and organization elements of a project are addressed and integrated.
  • Manage project plan and schedule.
  • Promptly resolve project issues and manage associated project delays.
  • Identify Project risks and mitigate appropriately.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver an efficient Project Management function.
  • Continuously drive constant improvement within the consultancy teams to increase the customer experience, drive further adoption of technology and grow the Professional Services business
  • Own, manage, track and report on the successful delivery of projects using the organizations project delivery/tracking tool (Jira and Microsoft Projects).
  • Manage, track and report on the financial (Revenue, Costs, Margin) aspects for all assigned projects.

Minimum Qualification & Experience

7+ years of exp for Manager – Telecom Background – minimum 3-4 years of Project Management exp.PMP certified preferred – Some Scrum certifications are preferred as well like CSM, CSPO, PSM & SAFe.

Role Specific Technical Skills

  • Capable to daily work with MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project and Jira.
  • Takes personal pride in the quality of work delivered.
  • Has created project plans and schedules in the past.
  • Managed Risk and Issues logs
  • Is able to provide on a weekly report updates on delivery revenue forecasts including their current status, likely close, possible over-runs
Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry qualification & management experience Personal Attributes and Competencies:
  • Is personable and well presented.
  • Is able to communicate effectively with all levels of customer organisation (e.g. Technology individual to Senior Exec’s) and vary the message and content based on audience.
  • Is results focused by delivering no matter what the challenges come our way.

  • Has excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Has a strong Business and financial acumen.
  • Has the ability to collaborate with other peers and stakeholders effectively.
