Job Title: HR Manager- Operations and Statutory Compliance Reports to: GM- HR Department: Human Resources Type: Full-Time/Remote (prefereably Delhi/NCR) Job Summary: The HR Manager- Operations and Statutory Compliance is responsible for overseeing and improving the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department. This role ensures operational excellence in areas such as staff data management, HR systems, payroll coordination and HR policy implementation. The role acts as a bridge between strategy and execution, ensuring HR processes run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: HR Operations Management: Overseeing the end-to-end HR operations managed by the ops team (onboarding, offboarding, staff lifecycle, and HR documentation) Responsible for overall accuracy and timeliness of HR data and reports. Overseeing and coordinating with the IT team to ensure HRIS is in action. Once launched. Will be responsible for administration and optimization. Talent Analytics: Monitor and report on key talent metrics (e.g., bench strength, turnover of high-potential Staffs, internal mobility). Statutory Compliance and Organization Policies Ensure smooth movement of compliances (PG/ Gratuity/ Labour relations etc) any other compliances. Create, update, and ensure execution of HR policies, procedures, and staff handbooks. Payroll and Benefits Administration: Ensure error - free and timely payout of monthly salaries. Staff Relations and Support: Manage issues raised by the leadership team and escalation cases on HR-related issues and resolve operational concerns effectively. Process Improvement & Projects: Lead and implement HR process improvement initiatives. Ideate and execute the HR transformation/ digitization projects. Team Leadership (if applicable): Supervise HR administrative/operations staff and ensure efficient execution of operational responsibilities. Train and mentor junior HR ops team members. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). 8–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in an HR operations and 2-3 years in managerial role. Strong understanding of labor laws, statutory and HR compliance requirements. Experience working with HR systems (e.g., SAP , Peoplesoft etc.). Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Skills: Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. High attention to detail and data accuracy. Project management skills. Discretion and confidentiality. Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS platforms. Exposure to digital HR transformation initiatives.
