Job Description

Job Summary:

The Manager – Finance will lead the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and hands-on experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis. The Senior Manager will act as a strategic business partner to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Drive the annual budgeting and long-term forecasting processes.
  • Perform detailed variance analysis, highlighting key trends and insights.
  • Develop financial models to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Accounting & Compliance:

  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Oversee preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
  • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities as required.

Strategic Financial Management:

  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business strategy and growth.
  • Monitor KPIs and financial performance, and propose corrective actions as needed.
  • Support M&A due diligence and integration processes, where applicable.

Cash Flow & Treasury:

  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions.
  • Optimize capital structure and banking relationships.

Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, CMA, MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
  • Experience: 8–12+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or senior role.
  • Experience in [pharama industry] is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel/financial modeling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
