JLL Property Development Services (PDS) - Mumbai
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Manager - Business Operations to join our Property Development Services team in Mumbai. This role requires a seasoned professional with strong project coordination, financial operations, and vendor management expertise to support large-scale real estate development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & Documentation:
- Manage end-to-end financial documentation and processing for development projects
- Review, verify, and process vendor and client invoices in accordance with contract terms
- Handle invoice reconciliation, payment tracking, and receivables management
- Prepare monthly financial trackers including revenue forecasting and payment schedules
- Maintain accurate cashflow management and budget tracking for assigned projects
Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
- Oversee vendor engagement, registration, and onboarding processes across the West region
- Act as primary coordination point for payments, receivables, and financial queries
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Facilitate smooth communication between internal teams, clients, and external partners
Project Support & Reporting:
- Track project progress through Work Progress Reports (WPR) and management dashboards
- Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management reviews
- Support compliance processes and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
- Coordinate across departments to ensure seamless project delivery
- Maintain Workday entries and ensure up-to-date project information systems
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in project operations, financial operations, or business development
- Proven track record in vendor management and client coordination
- Experience with large-scale projects and cross-functional team collaboration
- Background in real estate, construction, or related industry preferred
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with ERP systems (Tally ERP 9, Workday)
- Strong analytical and financial documentation skills
- Excellent English and regional language communication abilities
