Serving clients in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food processing, and wastewater industries, Yo-Tana is known for engineering excellence and client-first solutions.

To drive the next phase of growth from our Sanand facility, we are hiring a Business Development Manager with a strong background in pumps, valves, and industrial equipment sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Industrial Sales Development:

Identify and pursue sales opportunities across industries that require fluid handling and solid-liquid separation solutions.

  • Client Acquisition & Retention:

Build and manage relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, consultants, and end users. Ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Cross-Selling Expertise:

Leverage your knowledge of pumps, valves, and related products to consultatively sell Yo-Tana's filtration systems as complementary solutions.

  • Lead Generation & Conversion:

Respond to inquiries, prepare technical-commercial offers, negotiate deals, and close orders with the support of the design and costing teams.

  • Market Intelligence:

Analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior to guide market strategy and pricing.

  • CRM & Sales Process Management:

Maintain detailed lead pipelines in CRM tools, prepare reports, and present performance updates to management.

  • Collaboration:

Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, production, service) to ensure accurate execution of client requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or related field; MBA preferred
  • 5–10 years of experience in B2B sales of pumps, valves, or capital industrial equipment
  • Proven ability to manage long-cycle technical sales with high-ticket products
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with CRM software, MS Office, and technical documentation
  • Willingness to travel across India and occasionally abroad

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience working with filtration systems, process automation, or utility engineering
  • Familiarity with clients in sectors like chemicals, pharma, food & beverage, effluent treatment, or mining
  • Existing network of consultants, OEMs, or channel partners
