Position Overview We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Head of Accounts to lead the company’s accounting and financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with tax laws, budgeting, audits, and team leadership. This role plays a crucial part in supporting strategic decisions and maintaining financial health. Key Responsibilities Financial Management Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll Ensure timely preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Compliance & Taxation Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies for audits and inspections Budgeting & Forecasting Develop and monitor budgets in collaboration with the COO and other department heads Provide regular variance analysis and recommendations Internal Controls & Process Improvement Establish robust internal controls and streamline accounting processes Implement cost control and reporting systems for departments Team Leadership Lead and mentor the accounts team Assign roles and review performance regularly Vendor & Client Financial Coordination Monitor receivables and payables, ensure healthy cash flow Maintain strong relationships with banks, vendors, and financial institutions Qualifications & Requirements Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent financial qualification preferred Minimum 8–12 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role In-depth knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and financial regulations Hands-on experience with Tally, Excel, and ERP systems Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Nice to Have Experience in manufacturing or engineering industries Familiarity with export documentation and international transactions Remuneration Commensurate with experience and industry standards.
