Role Overview: We are looking for a young, dynamic, and solution-driven Production & Planning Engineer to join our manufacturing operations team. This person will be responsible for creating and maintaining Bill of Materials (BOM) in Odoo ERP , tracking ongoing production, coordinating with the shop floor, and ensuring timely and efficient production planning. This role requires a high level of problem-solving ability , attention to detail , and coordination skills between multiple departments like Design, Purchase, and Production. Key Responsibilities: BOM Creation & Management: Prepare and update detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) for all filter press models and orders in Odoo ERP . Coordinate with the design and engineering team to ensure accuracy. Production Planning: Develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on order pipeline and stock levels. Schedule work orders and allocate resources (material, manpower, machine). Monitor progress against the plan and adjust schedules as needed. Production Tracking & Reporting: Track production status, identify bottlenecks, and take corrective actions to meet delivery timelines. Generate production reports and MIS for management review. Problem Solving & Coordination: Act as a link between Design, Purchase, and Shop Floor teams for resolving production-related issues. Identify production delays and proactively implement solutions. Material Planning: Monitor inventory levels and suggest procurement requirements based on production plans. Work with the purchase team to ensure timely material availability. Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements in production planning, tracking, and coordination processes. Desired Candidate Profile: Education: Diploma or Bachelor's in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering. Experience: 0–3 years (Freshers with strong problem-solving attitude can also apply).
