The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal operational efficiency, safety, and reliability. The role involves planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing preventive maintenance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues.
• Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation problems.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Manage spare parts inventory and order replacements as needed.
• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians and contractors.
• Continuously evaluate equipment performance and suggest improvements.
• Prepare maintenance reports and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in [industry-specific, e.g., manufacturing, power plants, etc.].
• Strong knowledge of machinery, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Good organizational and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Strong communication skills and team leadership abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
