Job Title: Maintenance Engineer – Robotic Assembly Systems Department: Maintenance / Engineering Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 2–5 Years Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to support and maintain robotic assembly lines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, troubleshooting of PLCs, vision systems, drive systems, and industrial automation components to ensure uninterrupted production and equipment reliability. Key Responsibilities:1. Preventive Maintenance Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on robotic assembly equipment. Ensure machinery runs at optimal efficiency and extend equipment life. 2. Troubleshooting and Repairs Diagnose and resolve technical issues in robotic systems. Conduct in-depth PLC troubleshooting and resolve inter-PLC communication problems. 3. Vision System Maintenance Maintain and troubleshoot machine vision systems used for quality control. Ensure accurate image capturing and processing to minimize defects. 4. Drive Systems Maintain and repair Siemens and SEW drive systems. Ensure consistent and efficient operation of all drive components. 5. Sensing Devices Install, test, calibrate, and maintain various sensing devices (proximity sensors, limit switches, photoelectric sensors, etc.). Ensure the safety and accuracy of automated processes. 6. Electrical Hoists Maintain and repair electrical hoists used in the manufacturing process. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and mechanical reliability. Qualifications & Skills: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering fields. 2+ years of hands-on experience in robotic/automation system maintenance. Strong knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., Siemens, Allen Bradley). Familiarity with machine vision systems, drive systems, and sensing technologies. Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics. Good understanding of safety standards and industrial maintenance practices.
