Job Title: Maintenance Engineer – Robotic Assembly Systems Department: Maintenance / Engineering Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 2–5 years Reports To: Maintenance Manager / Automation Lead Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Engineer with expertise in robotic systems and automation to support our assembly line operations. The ideal candidate will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure the reliable performance of robotic systems, drives, sensors, and lifting equipment to maximize equipment availability and production efficiency. Key Responsibilities:1. Preventive Maintenance Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on robotic assembly equipment. Ensure equipment longevity and minimize unexpected breakdowns. 2. Troubleshooting and Repairs Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults in robotic systems. Conduct PLC troubleshooting and address communication issues between different PLC systems. 3. Vision System Maintenance Maintain and troubleshoot machine vision systems used for quality control. Ensure consistent and accurate visual inspections during production. 4. Drive Systems Maintain and troubleshoot Siemens Drives and SEW Drives. Ensure drives are calibrated and operating efficiently. 5. Sensing Devices Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial sensors (e.g., proximity, pressure, optical). Verify proper sensor functioning for safety and production accuracy. 6. Electrical Hoists Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical hoists. Ensure hoists are safe, reliable, and compliant with safety regulations. Qualifications: Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field. Experience: 2–5 years in industrial maintenance, preferably in an automated manufacturing environment. Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley) Knowledge of SEW and Siemens drive systems Familiarity with machine vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) Understanding of sensor technologies and safety devices Basic understanding of hoist operations and maintenance Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Good documentation and reporting skills Team player with excellent communication skills Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergencies Preferred (Optional):Exposure to industrial automation and robotics (e.g., ABB, Fanuc, KUKA) Knowledge of safety standards such as LOTO, ISO 45001 Experience with SAP PM or other maintenance management systems
