Job Description

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer – Robotic Assembly Systems Department: Maintenance / Engineering Employment Type: Full-time | On-site Experience: 2–5 years preferred Job Overview: We are looking for a technically skilled and hands-on Maintenance Engineer to ensure the efficient functioning of robotic assembly lines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of robotics equipment, including PLCs, drives, vision systems, sensing devices, and electrical hoists. Key Responsibilities:1. Preventive Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventive maintenance of robotic assembly machinery. Ensure optimal equipment performance and reduce unplanned downtime. 2. Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and repair faults in robotic systems and automation lines. Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and address communication issues between different PLCs. 3. Vision System Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot machine vision systems to ensure high-quality standards and defect detection accuracy. 4. Drive Systems Maintenance: Handle maintenance and fault resolution of Siemens and SEW drive systems. Ensure stable drive operations and minimize production disruptions. 5. Sensing Devices: Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot sensors including proximity, photoelectric, and limit switches. Ensure sensor accuracy and reliability for safe and efficient operation. 6. Electrical Hoists: Maintain and service electrical hoists used in material handling. Guarantee safe and compliant hoist operations. Qualifications and Requirements: Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field. Experience: 2+ years in a similar industrial automation/maintenance role. Technical Skills: PLC programming/troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.) Experience with vision systems and drive systems Strong understanding of electrical schematics and industrial equipment Familiarity with safety protocols and CMMS tools Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking Good communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams Willingness to work in a fast-paced production environment Preferred Industries: Automotive, Electronics Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, or Heavy Machinery.
