Job Description

As a Warehouse Manager at our pharmaceutical distribution company, your role involves overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure the efficient handling of pharmaceutical products. Your key responsibilities will include: - Overseeing receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of pharmaceutical products - Maintaining accurate inventory levels and implementing stock rotation for product quality - Monitoring storage conditions, including temperature control for sensitive medications - Conducting regular stock checks and reconciling discrepancies In terms of Transportation Management, you will be responsible for: - Coordinating delivery schedules and optimizing routes for efficiency - Managing relationships with transportation providers and ensuring compliance with delivery timelines - Monitoring shipment tracking systems and addressing delays promptly - Ensuring proper packaging and labeling of shipments for product integrity Your role will also involve Compliance and Regulatory tasks such as: - Adhering to Good Distribution Practices (GDP) regulations - Implementing quality control procedures throughout the distribution process - Managing serialization and traceability requirements for pharmaceutical products - Conducting regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance standards Customer Service will be a crucial aspect of your role, requiring you to: - Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, deliveries, and product availability - Effectively manage customer returns and complaints - Collaborate with sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction Cost Management will also be a key focus, involving: - Analyzing logistics costs and identifying cost optimization opportunities - Developing and implementing cost-saving initiatives related to transportation, warehousing, and inventory management - Preparing and managing logistics budgets In terms of Team Management, you will be expected to: - Lead and supervise a team of warehouse personnel, including receiving clerks, pickers, packers, and drivers - Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field - Proven experience in pharmaceutical logistics and distribution, preferably in a wholesale or distributorship role - Thorough understanding of GDP regulations and compliance requirements - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other logistics software - Ability to manage budgets and cost control measures This is a full-time position that requires at least 4 years of experience in warehouse management systems and 1 year of experience in transportation management, compliance and regulatory tasks, customer service, cost management, and GDP regulations and compliance. The work location is in person.,
